Self Discipline?

So, being a young housewife with no kids can get pretty boring. My background is in sales, marketing, and real estate. I have a large home and took one of the bedrooms as my 'craft room'. I probably have thousands of dollars worth of supplies and machines yet rarely go in there. When I want to work on something I head upstairs and grab my stuff then head back down to the couch and make it happen. I'm enjoying so much starting this 'business'. I spend hours a day researching projects and tutorials online and then don't even make half of them. How do I get myself to make inventory? I've made a few things that I'll be posting on my website and etsy site this weekend. But how do you get self discipline? Is it something that comes naturally to some people while others struggle to master it?
